(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyngnt).

(Received this day at 9.25. a.m.) LONDON,. Oct. 29. lin an amusing speech to. his constituency Mr Winston Churchill said, all the animals in the Zoological Gardens decided to disarm and hold a conference. The rhinoceros declared the use of teeth was barbarous and horrible and ought to be prohibited, but horns, which were, mainly defensive weapons, were allowable. The buffalo, the stag, the porcupine and the hedgehog supported the rhino but tjhe lion , and the tiger defended the teeth and even B claws as, honourable weapons', of- imv memorial antiquity. The panther, the leopard and the whole tribe of wild cats supported'the lion and the tiger;' but the bear proposed that both teeth and horns should be banned and argued in favour of a good hug as being fraternal and a great step towards peace, at which the turkey was stricken with, panic and the proceedings became so acrimonious that the keepers intervened and got the animals hack into their cages. '• - Mr Churchill hoped' he would not be asked to .point out the moral.
