The Management Committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association at a meeting on Monday, decided to adopt tho Lawn Tennis Clianiipionship Tourney to be held at Auckland in December. NEW YORK, Sept. 12. At Forest Hills, Crawford defeated Van Ryan 4-fi, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2, 6-3. After Crawford beat Van Ryan lie left the Stadium court amidst'Australian c-ooes. He plays Hunter in the quarter finals to-morrow. Hunter defeated Borotra o—6, 5—7, 0-0, 6-4, 6—2. Uoig defeated Austin 6—4, 5—7, 6—2 6—B, 6—2. At Forest Hills, Mangin defeated Do Buzelet B—6, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.
