EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS
(Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY. Sept. 4. Fourteen Masses were celebrated on the liner Mnrama, with a piano in use as the altar for the Eucharistic Congress pilgrims coming from New Zealand on the voyage across to Sydney. There were 487 pilgrims aboard, and fourteen Masses were celebrated daily. This party was last of one thousand pilgrims sent to the Congress, Mita Taupopoki was the outstanding figure of another party of two hundred pilgrims who arrived by the Mali ono for the Congress. ’lbis is the first time that the Maori Ilace lias been represented at the Eucharistic Congress.
