MANAGEB’S REVIEW. In a short review of the tour, A\ r . F. 1-lornig, said: “Taken all through the tour has been most enjoyable. The hospitality front Cape to Victoria Falls lias been marvellous. It is a pity we could not accept all offered. The train journeys were most tedious, and aftci a long trip the team bad more or less lost form. The spell the team bad last week bad a lot to do with the win. South African football is so strong that we could not risk putting, in what wo though would be a comparatively weak team in any match. AA’e had to put a strong team in all the way through. AVe found the crowds impartial. In the last test, the team played up to the best New Zealand form and every man excelled himself. It was a clearcut victory. Alter the first half hour there was only one team iu it. It was a great match and we deserved to win. It was a memorable game and a very strenuous one. The whole team are looking .forward to getting hack to New Zealand.”
