Bill and read a second time the Church <>! England Empowering Bill. At the evening sitting, the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Bill was debated at considerable length and read a second time.

The Public Works Amendment Bill was also read a second time. The House rose at midnight till 2.30 p.m.
