SIR WILLIAM SIM. (By Telegraph—Per Pross Association. WELLINGTON, August 30. ’The death was announced last evening of his Hoiioni’, Sir William Sim. a judge of tho Supreme Court. Flags were flown half mast on the- Government Buildings to-day to his memory. DUNEDIN, August 30.

In the Supreme Court, tributes from the Bench and the Bar were paid to the late Sir William Sim by Air W. R. Brugli (President of the Law Society) and Justice Ostler. The latter said that by his daily work over a long course of years Justice Sim had established the title to he remembered as one of our greatest judges. The Taranaki District Law Society | this morning passed a resolution placing on record high appreciation of the distinguished services rendered by the late Sir William Sim and conveying to Lady- Sim and family deep sympathy in their sad loss.
