LATE LOCALS.
Attention is directed to Jeffries and Co’s auction sale of Mr J. \V. Kell Us dairy herd, etc. at Kokatalii to-morrow, commencing at 11 o’clock. Luncheon will he provided. The arrangements in connection with the forthcoming Hospital Ball are progressing very satisfactorily. Considerable interest is being taken in the l competition tor the best all round “set” (four pairs) for which a special prize is being given.
The Hospital Ball Committee desire to thank the following lauies and gentlemen for prizes kindly donated for the hall and juvenile on sth and 6th September:—Mrs J. J- Breeze sin.. Mrs Baird, Mrs Langford, Mrs Keller, Mrs Pane. Mrs Benjamin, Mrs Jeffries. Mrs Stevenson. Mrs Paterson, Mrs Ifaekeli, Miss M- Halliday, Mr F. H. Clark, also the guarantors of the recent Spinsters Ball.
