It again expresses a determination that war debts are to- he paid, ‘ although we have no desire to be oppressive or grasping.” It praises multi-lateral outlawry of war treaty and reiterates from friendship Avith Canada. It expresses sympathy with China hut stresses tho traditional American policy of non-interference in political affairs of other nations and reiterates a determination to stay out of the League, of Nations. The party pledges itself and its nominee to the observance of a. vigorous enforcement of tlie eighteenth amendment and deplores corruption in office in indirect terms and large election campaign expenditure,, and reaffirms a determination to continue to restrict immigration and maintain the navy up to the AVashington Treaty.
