“It may he of interest to the Council to know that nations forming the International Lawn Tenuis Association have expressed surprise at the number of tennis players in New Zealand, and it is suggested to give New Zealand an extra vote at the International Federation. This will give your association tne status of a four-vote nation, instead of three, as hitherto.

This was an announcement made by Mr M. L. Demiiston last night, when presiding at the meeting of the council of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association.
