EVERYBODYS PICTURES. MARION DAVIES WEDNESDAY. Marion Davies’ success in such excellent productions as “ Beverley of Oraustark,” “Lighs of Old Broadway,” and “The lied Mill,” has been more than duplicated in her latest Mctro-Goldyn-Maycr starring vehicle, “ Tillie the Toiler,” which is to be shown at the Princess Theatre to-morrow evening. The new picture is based on the well-known comic newspaper cartoons “Tillie Toiler,” and Miss Davies, with her supporting cast of well-known players interpret the roles of Russ Westover’s caricatures in a droll and comical manner. Miss Davies is delightful in the title role, and as the frivolous but lovable little stenographer she has a suitable outlet for her. comedy talents. Matt MoOre, George K. Arthur, Gertrude Short, Harry Crocker, Bert Roach, George Fawcett, Claire McDowell, Estelle Clark, and Arthur Hoyt are included in the cast. The picture was excellently directed bv Hobart Henley.
A comedy, gazette and scenic complete the programme. Coming Friday.—Ken Maynard in “ The Land ,Beyond the Law.”
