FRENCH ANTI-WAR NOT!'
WASHINGTON. March 31
Ernnco on Saturday asserted her readiness to submit to the British, Italian, German, and Japanese Governments all tlie Franco-A morican anti-war correspondence along with a draft of a general treaty pledging them not to resort to war. 'I he Note addressed to Mr Kellogg abandons the previous insistence ol the anti-war pledge to he restricted to wars of aggression, hut outlined three points necessary if an agreement is reached. Firstly, that the treaty ho aeccssnblo to all the world governments, to come into force only alter universal acceptance, unless the Powers signing “should agree upon it coming into force despite certain abstentious.”
Secondly, if one signatory “should fail to keep its word” the other signatories are automatically released from their engagements with respect to the olfeuding state.” Thirdly, that war renunciation to be proclaimed does not deprive the signatories of legitimate defence. LINDBERGH’S DENIAL.
