LONELY DEATHS. ADELAIDE. March 31
The bodies of two men, William Wattslord and Harry Ternoy. have been found, four miles apart, in the desert near Boroollooln. It is believed that they were making northwards oil foot, and that they lost their way and perished from starvation and exposure. The tracks at this period of the year are smothered with grass and arc difficult to follow.
ROAD BOARD’S DECISION. .MELBOURNE. April 2
In order to protect the railways from road competition the '• minty Roads Board decided to cancel a number of country motor services, which have been operating some years by private enterprise. They comprise some ol the most, prosperous services in the Stale.
HINKLER’S WIFE. BERTH. April 2
Hinkler arrived in order to meet his wife, who is aboard the steamer Drama. Hinkler was enthusiastically welcomed and was presented with £250.
