IN THE COMMONS. LONDON, March 28.
In the Commons,' Sir A. Chamberlain told questioners that thirty-tour conventions and protocols had been concluded under the League of Nations. Britain laid signed thirty, ot which twenty-four were ratified. Britain was also prepared to ratify the arms traffic convention as soon ns they could secure simultaneous ratification by the principal arms producing Powers. There was no immediate prospect of ratification by the latter, including United States. Hon Amery in reply to a question said that the first arrests of tribesmen in the Solomons arising out of tin recent trouble were made on October 31st 1927 and 181 had been arrested to' Pehn, ary 6th, 1928.
