Bade, who has filled the position of Timber Checker and Ticket Inspector for the last six years, who is to-day leaving on promotion to Invercargill, whee he becomes Goods Shed foreman. Mr Fowler, stntionniaster, in. banding over a solid leather travelling hag to Mr Bade, endorsed all the good wishes of the previous speakers, and incidentally complimented Mr Bade on his integrity and fair dealing both with the public and the stnlf. Mr Bade suitably replied, and was given three cheers at the conclusion.
