On the bowling green on Saturday evening .Messrs Ward and Stevenson (holders of the Batchelor Buttons) defeated -Messrs Afoorc and Benjamin by 23 to 17. SOUTH AUSTRALIAN TEAM. WELLINGTON, March 16. I’lie second match between the South Australian howlers and representatives of me Wellington Centre resulted in a draw—B3 all. The unofficial games were won by Wellington by 47 to 34. The visitors left for Nelson on Friday nignt. ’l’he South Australian team arrived at West-port this morning and play a Westport team this afternoon. They come on to Grey mouth to-morrow and play a West Coast centre team on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, tlie Grev Club providing two rinks, Runniiga, and Hokitika Clubs one rink each. The Hokitika team will be: Messrs J. J. Breeze, J. H. Wilson, A. Ti Benjamin and D. Stevenson (s).
