THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES

At a Welsh Chcisch Service. ]h this new land, people should live and work together, each helping the other as they contributed their racial gifts to the common life. People need not tie reminded that it was not iby might or power, but bv kindling the sacred flame in men’s hearts, that great and lasting things were wrought. They must remember that man did not live by bread alone, but by spiritual adventure in the world of faith and mystery. The names of great Welshmen brought a kindling of the spirit. They handed on the sac-red torch to the present generation, who could look back with thankfulness for the past and hope and courage to the future, because thep had a special heritage that came to the sons and daughters of Wales. West-Watson.
