ADDITIONAL MAIN HIGHWAYS. I tie Wesllatnl County Council ties been advised that the following loads are to be gazetted as additional main highways within-the Westland County— Kokalahi-Koiterangi road from Kanieri to junction with McArthur road, Koiterangi; distance about 12 miles. Lake Kanieri road l'roip junction at Kokatahi road to Lake Kanieri; distance about 7 miles. I pper Kokatahi road from Graham's corner, Kokatahi, to junction with Mohurry road. Upper Kokatahi, distance about I miles. I his is a total of 23 miles out of So miles asked ior. the roads declined being Ailhurstowii. Cpper Koiterangi. and Blue Spur roads. I niler i lie new arrangement the Highways Board will contribute to"ai'ds ihe cost ol the maintenance of the three roads above mentioned at the rate ol 3(1, tor LI, or out ol every Co expenditure in maintenance, the .Main Highways Board will find £3.
