GAS FOR HEATING

The domestic uses for gas are now manifold. Gas is the model'll heater, and is being provided for in till new buildings as the chief agency for heating and cooking. All the great modern hotels in the United States are now adopting gas cooking arrangements. 'I nere is a prime reason for this. The cleanliness, economy and the ready service are outstanding features ol gas used under modern methods.

Appliances for the use of gas about the home are now so varied that the service can he universal. From early morning to the latest hour something lias to lie done in domestic duties, and gas is the ready servant to be used. The use of gas for house purposes is now generally recognised, and to meet tlie always increasing demand, appliances of all kinds have been improved in design and appearance to such an extent that the service nowadays from gas appliances is truly remarkable. Locally, appliances of every description may bo purchased outright or on the time payment system. Advice and assistance regarding the use of gas will he freely given on enquiry, and prices may he obtained from the Hokitika Gas Works, or from Mr W. H. Shannon, Revell Street. Arrangements can he made also for personal lessons in gas cooking or the control of gas cookers on application to Airs Heinz.
