(By Telegraph—Per Press Association. RECORD PIVICKS. SYDNEY, Jan. 11. At the wool sales the market was firm at late rates and good clearances were effected. Greasy merino sold to thirty-two pence, necks to 27^d, and crossbred to 28d. The latter two prices were records for the marnet, ,STEAMER trouble, SYDNEY, Juiiaafy. 11. No developments occurred in regard tu the steamers strife. It is (eared however, the trouble will extend to other ships at the weekend. MELBOURNE, January 11. Steamship owners concerned in the seamans dispute, slate they have done all in their power to keep the trade going, but they are not prepared to allow the law to stand in abeyance and place themselves at the mercy of
the men. Considering the next move shoud come from the seamen, they have derenewed. The unfortunate absence men abandoned them and await envelopments. They add that since Jan. of last year on no fewer than 111 occasions, vessels were delayed through the actions of members of the seamens union.
