A meeting of delegates from the following Clubs was held at Hokitika last evening—Hokitika, Ross, Kanieri, and Ruatapu. Riinu was not represented. Air C. J. King presided. It was resolved that a Sub-Union be formed and Air C. J. King was elected Scoretary. It was resolved that the Southern Sub-Union affiliate with the AVcst Coast Cricket Association. The Secretary was instructed to obtain all necessary particulars respecting affiliation, and obtain copies of rules of the Association. The Secretary reported that a Challenge Clip had been donated to the Suh-Union for competition by the clubs in the Southern district. HOKITIKA SU H- UN 1 0 N. AICTORLA HEAT QUEENSLAND. MELBOURNE, Dec. 21. Queensland in th'dr second innings -scored 107 runs. Lister made lb and Ainas (no tout) 27. Morion took 3 for 10b and Ironmonger 5 for 88. Victoria won by an innings and 197 rims. The weather was fine and the wicket good. The howlers in the early stage dominated the game.
