Marton dismissed Junction for only one run. Howling, Biss took six for 1, Broad tour for'O. Only ten overs were bowled. AI.C.C. AIATCII DRAWN. CAPETOWN. Dec. 2. Rain prevented further play in the Alnrylebone match at Alaritzburg. Ihe match was drawn. M.C.C. V. NATAL. CAPETOWN, Dec. 3. Marylebone, against Natal, at Durban, two wickets down for 227 runs (Sutcliffe 93, Tyfdesle.v not out 65.) SHEFFIELD SHIELD -MATCH. ADELAIDE, Dec. 3. In the Sheffield Shield cricket match. Victoria made 646 for eight (Ryder 70, Hendry 168, Scaife 28, Ilartkopl not out 111, Blaekie 55). Stumps were then drawn. The weather was fine and the wicket good for the second day’s play. 'Hie Victorian batsmen held possession of the wicket, providing South Australians with a day’s leather-hunting, and piling up a mighty score. Ryder gave a brilliant display of bitting, bis partnership with Hendry adding 146 for the third wicket. Senile, a young batsmen, shaped well in making bis score. Hartkopf pleased the spectators with his forceful bitting, and in his association with Blaekie, 140 runs were added to the total. Excepting Grimmett, who managed to keep the runs down, tlio visitors made all the howling appear easy.
