GILES TO HOP OFF AGAIN. SAN FRANCISCO. Nov. 6
Giles announced that he intends to hop off again within ten days in the light of the next full moon. The airman appears elated over the expression of confidence from Rosewarne, and is proceeding with plans to bring the plane from San Simeon. AIR LINER. LONDON, Nov. 27. The Imperial Airways silver wing de luxe, eight ton three motor liner leaves Croydon on January Ist. on the first world aerial pleasure cruise, of 35 days, covering en route 5500 miles, in Southern France, Spain, Africa, and Italy. It has every comfort and de luxe accommodation. There will be motor trips at stopping places, and no night flying. The twelve passengers will pay 435 guineas each, and will carry sixty pounds of luggage apiece.
LANCASTER STRANDED. BASRA, Nov. 27. Lancaster was stranded in Bushire owing to trouble with magnetos. The Air Force is sending a substitute by air. ATR- FAILURE. LONDOY. Nov. 28. Although the conditions were favourable the machine was unable to rise.
