COOKING WITH CERTAINTY
A Cake Cooking Competition was Held lately in Auckland, and there was a very large number of competitors. It is a remarkable recommendation for cooking with gas that the winner stated she was away from her kitchen tor three hours while the cake was cooking. The secret of this is told simply. She used a “ Regulo ” cooker, and the cooker did the watching and produced the cake that won the competition. The moral is, to cook with certainty use a gas cooker, “ Regulo ” preferred. Faulty cooking is invariably caused by uneven heating. The modern gas cooker will he found to counteract the difficulties. The oven is insulated to retain the heat and ensure an even distribution of the heat, and thereby steady cooking results. Being enamellined tbe ov<sn is easily and quickly cleaned, and that is a great consideration in cooking. Other features of use are the hot plate, fitted with high efficiency top bars. The modern cooker, which can be bought locally on tbe time payment system, is designed for efficiency, economy, and cooking with certainty. All particulars are obtainable from the Hokitika Gas Coy., or Air AV. 11. Shannon, Revell Street. Don’t delay; make enquiry early.
