r AustraJan Press Association & Sun. AIRWOMEN AIEET AT AZORES. LONDON, Oct. 16. Aliss Ruth Elder has declined the German plane crew’s invitation to return with them on the Junker machine to America. Aliss Elder is expected to reach Lisbon on October 25th. Hie two airwomen, Aladam Lilli Dillenz and Aliss Elder had a cordial meeting at the Azores. SEAPLANE’S ROUGH FLY. LISBON, Oct. 17. The seaplane D. 1220 arrived at Vigo after a rough flight in the Bay of Biscay. ANOTHER. FLIER. VANCOUVER, Oct. 17. A message from Elks, Nevada, states Giles left for the Coast for his Australian flight. He was slightly injured and the plane damaged in a crash todav.
