A fierce battle is in progress on the Peking-Suinn front. Streams of wounded are pouring into Peking, where all hospitals are filled. Roth sides suffered heavily. Fengteins captured two brigade commanders and seven rej'irnentn 1 commanders. I A reward of 400,000 dollars is offered for the head of Ycnshishan, Shansi’s rebel governor. A prize is offered for the occupation of Shinnihiehunng. .Madam Wu, wife of the Nationalist minister of Foreign Affairs, visiting relatives at Tientsin, which is anti- , Nationalist territory, was arrested, "'while hoarding a steamer en route to Shanghai. The Soviet Consul, - Sara kin, at Changsha, has been advised by tho Chinese authorities to leave, as he is blamed for the unsettled conditions, and bandit outrages.
