WEDDING BELLS

A r| iiiet but i» re tty wedding was solemnized at the Presbyterian Church, Hokitika, last evening at 7 o’clock by Rev. J. \Y. Hayward. The contracting parties wore .Mr Robert Hoffmann, eldest son of Air and Alls JO. li. Hoffmann. of Healey Street. Hokitika, and .Miss Mavis Cunningham, daughter of .Mr and Mrs H. Thomson, of Alananui, The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her step-latber, looked charming in a champagne crepe de chine frock and hat to match. The bridesmaid, .Miss Ettie Hoffmann (sister of the bridegroom) wore a beige crepe de chine frock and hat to match. Air William Hoffmann filled the duties of best mail. The bride travelled in a navy blue repp ensemble suit and hat to match. After the ceremony the bride and bridegroom were entertained at the residence of the bridegroom’s parents, where the usual toasts were honoured. The bride and groom left for Christchurch by motor-car.
