The cycle road race from Hamilton to Auckland, about 8!) miles, carrying with it the Dunlop North Island Cycling Road Championship, was won bv •T. Henderson, of Auckland (12 mins). w . Brewster, of New Plymouth (on scratch) was second, and AY. Francis of Auckland (I7mius.) was third. There were twenty-three starters. The fastest time was recorded l>y Brewster, viz:, I hour 3-1 minutes, 3-1 sees, off scratch. He Finished 300 yards behind Henderson. E. Brockton, of Hamilton, who is 70 years of age next- week, competed in the race on a handicap, completing tho course in eight hours 33 minutes. VICTORIAN ROAD RACE. GEELONG, Oct. 2.

The fifty miles Open Cycle Race, known as “The Little Warrambool” resulted : AY. A r eitch (Victoria) I ; A. Oran (Victoria) 2; F. Arklay (Victoria) 3. AA'ou by a length. Time 2hrs. Smins. 20sees. The fastest time was recorded by IT. Moody (N.S.AA’.) viz. 2 hrs. dm in. 21sees.
