HAPPY USERS OF GAS

Who are tho happy Users of Gas? Are you among them? They are the slaves of yesterday—tho many mistresses and maids who grew old and weary under the tyranny of old King Coal. Their task was to cook by tho old kitchen range. Daily they suffered the drudgery of clearing away ashes, cleaning grates, coal carrying, fire-lighting; stoking and poking to keep the fire burning and to get even the oven hot or not so hot.

Leisure and happiness were rarely theirs. Youth fled before the daily discomforts of smoke, dirt and unceasing toil. Now they are ttie Happy Users of Gas, freed from the fetters of domestic drudgery, no longer under the grimy thumb of Old King Coal.

That domestic despot lias been ruthlessly, hut not too soon, dethroned. Gas, the purified spirit of coal, reigns in his stead—not as a tyrant but as the willing servant of the people —a willing servant that makes cooking a pleasurable and care-free operation, substituting leisure and happiness for the toil and sad hours of the past.

Are you among the Happy Users of Gas—the happy scores of women who cook by Gas and cook with ease, comfort and economy? If not, join tlieir ranks to-day!

The Minister of Health—The Right Hon Neville Chamberlain, M.P., speaking at Hornsey in March, 1926, said—“lf you instal a gas cooking stove in your home you will not only put yourself in a position to rival the cooking of the most brilliant chef, but you will also make your contribution towards the solution of the smoke problem.”

All particulars about gas appliances (which can be obtained on deferred payment) are obtainable from the Gas Coy., Stafford Street, or Mr W. H. Shannon, Revell Street.
