Host Romance. There is, of course, plenty of excitement still in the world, but the sense of wonder and mystery is no longer w.lmt it was. And no longer is it possible to undergo the kind of experiences that, sixty years .since, were n commonplace in a sailor’s life. Existence has become more complex, but less romantic, and tbe advance of science has utterly changed the whole aspect of the universe.
