The late Air Oxenham had been engaged in taxi-driving, and was well known in the Grey District. He was at one time a prominent member of the Fire Brgiade, but unfortunately had 10 relinquish the rather strenuous duties involved owing to his health being seriously impaired. lie was a very popular member of the Star Football Club and various other sports bodies, and his demise will be much regretted by bis many friends.
