BUTTER CHAMPIONSHIP. [by TELEGRAPH—PER PRESS ASSOCIATION-! PALMERSTON N., June 13. Butter results of the National Dairy Show which opens to-morrow, were made available this morning. The entries are the largest in the history of the Association, and the Judges say the quality of the exhibits is well ahead of those of previous years. Butters have all undergone a hard test, being subject to lengthy storage for a period of three months. It is'pleasing to find that with one or two exceptions ,the quality stood the test veil and opened up as fresh as the day it went into tho cool stores. The flavour, body, salting etc. and general got up of the exhibits, leaves little to be desired. Championship of New Zealand: Shannon 189.1 points 1; Rangiwahia.
