ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS, WELLINGTON. .May 21 The third annual conference of the Electrical Supply Authority ol Engineers opened to-day. Mr T nogood (President) in the chair. Ilis address was mi lines of investigation justifying Now Zealand in the prosecution of major development works to completion, as was being done, hem-fitting both primary and secondary industry. YOUNG WOMANS THEFTS. CHRISTCHURCH. May 21. Pleading guilty to stealing sums ol money amounting to UIS92 Irom the drapery firm of Drayton Tones Ltd.. Nancy Hastings Carr aged 22 years, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. The woman was employed as the linns secretary from November 21th .1921 till April 29th 1927 and had full charge ol the cash and business transactions. In a statement admitting her guilt, she stated that she had spent the money foolishly.
