WHEAT HARVEST. SYDNEY, May 12. The final estimate of the wheat harvest hv the Government Statistician show a decrease clearly of nearly three million bushels. It is now estimated at 4 7.285.600 bushels. The decrease is due to adverse weather and hush fires. WELCOME RI YE li IN A RAINS. SYDNEY, May 11. Heavy rain is falling throughout the Riverina district, thus breaking a seven months’ drought, and considerably enhancing the crops and the lambing prospects. VICTORIAN MINISTRY. MELBOURNE. May 11. The State Cabinet of Victoria has authorised the Premier (Mr Allen) to submit the resignation of the Ministry to the Governor. It is practically certain that the Deader of the Labour Party will he commissioned to form a ministrv.
