I suppose T must have a sympathetic nature, for my friends keep coining to me with their troubles, and I wish they were all as easy to console as an old 'friend who grumbled about the price of Tobacco. 1 pointed out that lie could buy a really first-class Virginia Tobacco for 8d an ounce, and now lu; is smoking Bears Tobacco, sold loose by weight at 8d per oz. Ho thinks me and the Tobacco real comforters.
