SOUTH AFRICAN BUDGET. CAPETOWN, March 31. The Budget showed an estimated deficit of £146.000 on railways alone. The deLcit is over £500,000. The estimated revenue for the coming year is £28,750,000 which will about balance the expenditure. A loss of over a million tons, due to the failure of the maize crop is compensated by a large increase in coal, ores, minerals and building materials.
