Friday, aiarcii 25. The Board met at 3 p.m. Present : Hon. 11. L. Aliehel (Chairman), Alessi's A. Clifton. T. AY. Duff. T. AY. Bruce, J. King 'and A Clifton. The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. Appointments were notified :—AA esilaiul County Council, Air A. Clifton; Education Department, Air J. A. Murdoch.—Received. Emm Treasury forwarding £ll 12s 2d, reserve revenue—Received. from E. Partridge (Rector District High School) applying for six typewriters for commercial class of the school.—Received. All* Partridge was present and discussed matters « itli the Board. The Board granted the request and authorised the proem iiig of same. It was further resolved to procure accessories up to a value of £lO as required. The Chairman reported a lorge tree had come down in Wednesday nights storm on the Board s reserve and he arranged for the debris to he remoter. The action, was approved and it was resolved that two other dangerous trees be also removed and the fence

repaired. Li connection with the payment oi Borough rates, it was resolved to defer payment of same until the Council arranged for payment of rent of lease for the Swimming Baths, lor which no payment of the yearly rental agreed upon (£2 10s per year) had yet been made. The Board then rose.
