It is the duty of the ATlin Highways Board to allocate between the North and the South Islands the motor taxation raised annually, through tyre duties and license fees. (3) Amount of revenue fund allocated to North Island £941,204. (4) Expenditure in South Island: — Revenue £273,754, unexpended balance of revenue fund to credit of South Island £350,766. (5) Expenditure in North Island: — Revenue £519,761. unexpended Irtlance of revenue fund to credit ol North Island £421.443. , Those figures relate to the perio 1 ended January 31, 1927, and do not include supervision and miscellaneous charges, which will be brought ,n at the end of the financial year.
