The following u ill represent tin Hokitika Cricket Club in a crickci match to he played on the Monta Hospital grounds on Sunday, 1314 Inst.. against .Mental Hospital:— Turner, Greathatcli. Ferguson, Williams, Thomas, S., Cooper, Twomey, Webster. Griffith, Coulson, Nightingale. Emergencies:—King, C. J., Dougherty. Dale, King, R. Play commences at 1.30 p.m. sharp.
THE TEST TEAM. SEVERAL UNABLE TO PLAY. [ilY TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, March 9. Of the eleven originally selected to represent Now Zealand against, the Melbourne Club in the First Testmatch at Christchurch on March 18th.. T. O. Lowry, O. F. W. Allcott, and E. H. Bernau, have notified that they will be unable to play H. M. McGirr and M. Henderson, two other members of the New Zealand team for England. have also advised that they will not he able to take part in the match. The First Test Match lietween the Melbourne team and the Now Zealand team will lie played at Christchurch, and will commence on Friday, March 18th., at 2 p.m., and continue on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday.
