[l!\ TELEGRAPH—PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.' AUCKLAND, March 10. The New Zealand .Methodist Conference made apointinents on the recommendation of Hie College Board. of Rev. IJaws, Residential Professor, Rev. lianston, Secretary of the College Board. Dr Laws stated approximately £44,000 had been given, or prqmi.scd. for the new Theological College Fund. It was resolved that the expenditure in the Solomon Islands he limited to £14,500, and the exclusion of the. amounts voted from Uio Equipment Fund for buildings. Revs. Sinclair land Bhunires were reappointed editors of missionary publications; the former was reappointed general secretary of foreign mission. Revs. Marshall and Court were reappointed general treasurers of the mission. Hon Nosworthy wrote to the llev. Dolby asking for the niaine of the lad who Dolby stated had received shocking treatment on a North Auckland farm. Rev. Daily says he did not complain of the boy’s work, hut of his living conditions. “1 have the boy alright,” lie added, “hut what chance would he have of getting work in anotlier place if his identity were disclosed.”
