Render. was presented at a meeting ot the New Zealand League Football Council ~ist evening. After some discussion, ii was decided to take the report in committee. Some opposition was shown to the proposal, ami a motion was moved by E. Stallworthy (Auckland) and T. Tuoliey (Wellington) that the report be taken in open meeting. Bonder at once lu.ide an emphatic objection, and he refused to read the report in open meeting, and threatens to tear it up, unless it were taken in committee. An amendment was then moved by E. Pollock (Tiinaru) and C. A. Sneddon (Auckland) that the report he taken in committee. Tuoliey inti--1 liiMted that if the amendment were carried he would leave the meeting, because he felt they owed a duty to the public, who kept the game going and should be acquainted with all facts. The amendment was put and carried Mr Tuoliey thereupon withdrew from the meeting
