THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES
Science am> Tin-; Future. The possibilities that await the automobile however great they may be. are not more wonderful than the story of its past. For its development has been one of the most remarkable in the history of mechanical engineering. This, surely is evolution in. one of its phases. Stop by step the path of progress in locomotion has been opened, ancl the bird man along •another track (lias made space his high-way. Science is showing that the unrolling of invention gives the key to Creation’s secrets in other directions. As a theory it may lie imperfect still, and many of tho assumptions of evolutionists may he untenable, but surely man’s mind, as man’s body, is proving that ni! things move from one phase of attainment to another.
