The results were: Hundred Yards Backstroke—Saito (Japan) 1, Campbell 2, ’ Kirkland 3. Woii by two yards. Time 1.13. 220 Yds—Tokaishi (Japan) 1. Charlton 2. Moore 3. Won by 8 yards. Time 2.17. Won in an impressive manner, showing that he is a class above Charlton over the 220 yards distance. The winner’s time is 6 4-5 seconds faster than the Australian record, and is only one and two-fifths seconds outside the world record. Tlie high diving championship resulted—Bassass 1. Tight 2, Coyle 3. 220 Yds. Breast-stroke Championship—Bayldon 1. O’Connor 2. McCure 3. Won by two yards. Time 3.15 4-5 seconds.
