[Australian A N.Z. Cable Association.] WOMEN’S OLYMPIAD. LONDON. Aug. 29. At Gothenburg, the 440 yards relay race was won by England in 49 3-5 seconds, a. world’s record. The sixty metres women’s race was won bv Mademoiselle Rndideau (France) in 7 4-5 seconds. Misses Hayes and Thompson (England) were second and tliird. Standing long jump—TTitomi, 25 metres. Thousand metres—Miss Tucking (England) 187 4-5 secs. England has the highest aggregate with 50 points. France 27. Sweden 20, O.oHio-fflovnkia 19. Japan 15.
