May 24. f The billiard match Between Clark McConaehy (professional champion of New Zealand) and Toni Tothill (North of England champion) was commenced at the Grand Billiard Parlours yesterday afternoon. -McConaehy opened in His usual brilliant style in his attempt to concede 2000 in 9000 and win the match. The closing scores were: Tothill 3072; McConaehy (.in play) 1501.
