ARAHUKA FAT STOCK SALE. TV. JEFFRIES ANI) CO’S REPORT. For yesterday’s fixture at the above yard a somewhat smaller entry than usual was forthcoming, 50 fat ewes and wethers together with 35 head of fat cattle being penned, the quality of which was excellent.. Competition was keen ami ox beef made in the vicinity of -10 s per hundred, equal to those ruling recently at the yards.

Messrs TV. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows:—On account of Mr TV. Senile, 50 fat ewes and weathers at 245; on account of Mr J. Diedrieh, 2 fat eov.s at £9 ,l7s 6d. 2 at £9 7s (id. 1 at £9 os, I heifer at Co 12s (id, 1 at £■! fos, on account of Mr X. Friend. 3 bullocks at £l3, lat Cl 2.2 a £ll 17s (id, lat £l-1 15s, ;i at. £ll ss. 1 at £ll, 2 at £lO ss, 2 at CIO. -I at ££ 17s (id. 3 al £9 ss. AL HOUSTON AND CO’S REPORT Tho usual fortnightly sale of fat stock was held at the above yards yesterday, there being a fairly good attendance of buyers. Our yarding consisted of 32 head of cattle, mostly cow and heifer beef, which were cleared aL prices considerably in advance of those at the previous sale, ox beef realising to 40s per hundred and cow and heifer beef from 30s to 355. TVe sold as follows: —On account of Tlrs If. Diedrieh 2 cows at £7 17s fid, 3 at £lO 2s fid. 2 at £8 10s, 2 at CB, 2 heifers at £7 12s (id, 2 at £8 10s, 1 at- ;C7 10s, I cow at £7 10s. 1 at £7 7s (id ; on account of At. Patrick 1 cow at £8 10s. I light- heifer at £-1 7s fid: on account ol V . I-. Diedrieh 2 bullocks at £l4, 2 at £l2 2s fid, 1 cow at ,C 8 10s, 2 heifers at £8 17s fid, 1 sucker at £5 ss, 2 cows at £8 2s fid, I at £7 2s fid. I at £5: on account of D. Agncw 2 aged cows at £3 15s.
