THE DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.

The fourteenth week of the Exhibition dosed last night with a grand attendance record ol 1,710.002, equal to a daily average of 20.075. Nearly six hundred school children and thirty teachers arrived yesterday from Christchurch, forming the first party of weekly excursions ol Canterbury arranged under the auspices of the Education Board. The children arc billeted under competent supervisors at. Knox Sunday School. Burns’ Hall, Technical School Hall, .Stephens’ Hall, and Dundas St. Methodist Hall. T hey get four meals a day at the exhibition: breakfast at 8.30. dinner at 11.15. tea at 1.15 and supper at 8.15. Parties from Cromwell. Hokitika, Mniaura, Shag Point, Tonuika, Kapuka, Arundel, Woodbury. Ashburton, Ota rum, Recfton. Riinu, Oiari. Timaru, Geraldine. Alexandria. Napier. Queenstown and Tuatiuxre will be visiting the Exhiition in the near future.
The Woodlands iSCiool. which has already made one trip is arranging a second visit.
Among those entertained at. the Exhibition vesterdny were Dame ( lara Butt and Air Kenncriey Rnmloid, who wen? received in the British Court, delegates to Press Association and Newspaper Proprietors' Association Conferences, who were entertained by the directors and members ol “ Leave It To Jane” Company, who spent a hilarious hour in the amusement park.
