His Excellency and Lady Alice Fergusson accepted a life membership in the Rotorua Bowling Club. After tlie formal declaration following a speech by the Governor, Lady Alice sent down the jack and the first bowl. A very large gathering witnessed the ceremony. WESTPORT BEAT RUNANGA WESTPORT, Feb. 7. The Ballinger Buckles match, between Westport and Runanga was played this afternoon in showery weather. It resulted in a win for Westport by 75 to G 9.
