UNCLAIMED WAR BONDS
£1,009.000 LYING IDLE. HV TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSN., ~OI*YniGIIT ,SYDNEY. Jan. 21. An official report shows that about £1,000,000 recently matured 1925 war bonds are unclaimed, and the Treasury is anxious to secure authority to reinvest in the new live and a quarter per cent. loan, considering it inadvisable that such a. large sum should remain idle.
