WELLINGTON TROTS. WELLINGTON, Jan. 17. The Wellington Trotting Club’s Summer meeting was held on Saturday in beautiful weather. The track was in splendid condition, and there was a large attendance. The totalisatoj- investments were £22,225. Results :—- Novice Handicap.—-Sungleam I, Golden Bubble 2, Beatty 3. Won by a neck. Time 3.31 1-5. Nainni Handicap.—EiUo de Ballin 1, Peter McDonald 2, Grace Grattan 3. Won by a length. Time 3.42 3-5. Summer Handicap.—Arran Chief 1, Biddy Logan 2, Zolock Palm 8. Won easily. Time 3.31 2-5.
