The game was very close for the first five heads, hut Hokitika had a lead at the lf>t.li. head of 11. The Kaituua skip trailed Kitty and got four. Stevenson burnt, the next, head when Kaituua lay three, and made a lie. T.u the last lead, with three of a lead. Hokitika, lay one. Kaituua cut. it out and lay one. but no more, and Hokitika won bv 20 to 21. There was steady and .safe placing by tin* team throughout.
The Hokitika, team meet the British team. West Tlartoii. to-morrow. The weather is overcast. The team find 25 heads very tiling.
